I cheated. I know this is a blog solely about the delicious ways to eat Brussels sprouts, but I saw the bag above at Trader Joes and was intrigued.
First, I tried one raw after washing and draining them. The package recommends cooking them, and I’m going to agree. It’s edible raw, but it’s tough to chew.
I sauteed mine for a couple minutes. Then, i added a half cup of vegetable stock and let them steam for a few more minutes until they were tender. I decided to make them into a salad by mixing in some pecans, feta cheese, dried cranberries, and a splash of dressing.
I’d definitely eat them that way again.
